Godzilla vs. Kong is only available for a month starting March 31, so grab it while you can. The MonsterVerse movie offers almost exactly what you expect: two iconic giants bashing each other, with little regard for a good plot or memorable human characters. Fortunately, if it’s city-taking action you’re after, director Adam Wingard offers dazzling perspectives that bring you closer to the show. With a dash of weird sci-fi and a few laughs, this crowd pleaser provides a more than decent night out.

Now, a four-hour director’s cut of Snyder is ready on HBO Max, with a slew of new scenes, a couple of new villains, and the spectacular epilogue. If you agree with Snyder’s slow motion style, his strikingly different original vision is worth checking out.

Whether you like this or not probably depends on how much you like Seth Rogen. You get a lot from him: He stars in two roles in An American Pickle, first playing Herschel Greenbaum, a struggling Jewish worker who immigrated to America in 1919. He finds work in a pickle factory, and this is where things get weird. – falls into a tub of pickles that keeps it for 100 years. A coming-of-age drama starring motorcycles. Charm City Kings stars a fresh, young cast, including Jahi Di’Allo Winston as Mouse, a 14-year-old drawn into the Baltimore cycling world, much to his mother’s dismay. This is a bit of a novel inclusion. See what Robert Zemeckis (director of Back to the Future) and Anne Hathaway did with their retelling of the Roald Dahl classic. Jahzir Kadeem Bruno is Hero Boy, a boy who is turned into a mouse by the occasionally CGI Grand Witch of Hathaway. No one says it looks like the 1990 Anjelica Huston original, but it’s intriguing enough to take a look.

If you want to know more: Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Alice Hughes (Streep) is struggling to finish her next book, haunted by her literary agent (Gemma Chan). She goes on a cruise with old friends, who inspired her best-known work. The tensions are strong. It looks great, Soderbergh uses sharp, natural light, and most of the dialogue is impromptu. Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor star in this surprising romantic comedy film from Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity). The film was written and filmed during the confinement, and the pandemic actually appears in the backdrop of the film. Hathaway and Ejiofor play a couple planning to rob a jewelry store in London while most stores are closed. Their relationship has struggled in lockdown, and they reevaluate a thing or two in the midst of their crazy mischief. It’s not the most refined movie, but you’re mostly in it because of Hathaway and Ejiofor’s charisma. The inclusion of the pandemic will either intrigue or alienate you.
