ABC smears DeSantis: Appeals to 4Chan, makes Trump seem ‘cool’ – News Block

The left-wing media in the United States has officially reached the point where they found an enemy they hate more than former President Donald Trump. Conservatives have pointed out that whoever the media’s new enemy is becomes the worst person in the world, and in retrospect the hated old Republican is considered not so bad compared to the new enemy.

Bush was called evil and racist and compared to Hitler until John McCain and Mitt Romney ran for president. Bush was then spoken of favorably in comparison to the latter two. Like clockwork, Donald Trump came on the scene and suddenly McCain and Romney were the ideal Republicans.

Now it’s happening again. On ABC’s Sunday edition This weekcollaborator and New York Times Host Jane Coaston stated that Florida’s Republican governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis makes Trump “seem a little chill.”

“For example,” Coaston snorted, “he’s been hitting Donald Trump repeatedly this week for being comparatively centrist on LGBT issues. Have you heard from the Log Cabin Republicans, have you seen Caitlyn Jenner say what’s going on here?”

DeSantis is apparently running to “appeal to people on 4Chan,” according to the same leftist.

He ended his tirade by helping DeSantis appeal to conservative voters. DeSantis is “the most edgy, right-wing person I’ve ever seen on the internet.”

He even “makes Donald Trump look a little cool. Do you know how hard it is to make Donald Trump look cool? He’s doing it,” Coaston said.

She hates DeSantis, but these attacks will only help him among conservative voters who don’t want someone who New York Times he thinks it’s “some kind of chill”.

To paraphrase the great Rush Limbaugh: you will always know who the media fears and the Democrats fear for who they attack.

MARTHA RADDATZ: Jane, Jane, who is Ron DeSantis trying to appeal to?

JANE COASTON: Internet? Really, it’s interesting to me that this whole DeSantis campaign seems to be discussing, remember those things you liked about Donald Trump? I’m him, but I’m also very bad. His entire campaign seems to be aimed at an audience of people who are mostly present on the Internet. These called extremely online. And, for example, he has repeatedly hit out at Donald Trump this week for being comparatively centrist on LGBT issues. Have you heard of the Log Cabin Republicans, have you seen Caitlyn Jenner say what’s going on here? And obviously, I think the DeSantis campaign has — they have what bothers me is that he’s a real governor of a real state. He has a lot of things he can talk about, especially to an audience of Republicans who are tired of Trump. They are tired of just acrimony. They want to get things done.

And they have, here is a governor of a state that is doing well. That he was more than victorious in his re-election campaign. And now, he’s running to be, like, to attract people on 4Chan? What is this? It is a very strange campaign. When he could be talking about how he opened up Florida and beat COVID, whatever. And instead, he says, no. I’m going to present myself as the most edgy, right-wing person you’ve ever seen on the internet and make Donald Trump look a little laid back. Do you know how hard it is to make Donald Trump look cool? He is doing it!
