All About Plot, New Characters, Cast, Release Date

“You,” a popular Netflix series, centers on Joe Goldberg, a hauntingly charming lead played by Penn Badgley. Behind his literary taste and observation skills is a murderer, who justifies his body count with his own sense of superiority.

On Saturday, September 24, Netflix announced that part 1 of season 4 will premiere on February 10, 2023, and part 2 will premiere on March 10, 2023.

Netflix confirmed in October 2021 that the show, based on a novel by Carolyn Kepnes, would return for a fourth season.

In the Season 3 finale, Joe faked his own death, killing his wife, Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), and leaving their son Henry on a porch (only for a much better family to adopt him).

While the season hasn’t finished filming yet, fans are already expecting another amazing season of the show, which makes it feel different.

talking to ET, Badgley teased a gender change. “The tone is similar but it is changing because there is a different format. We are using a different format,” he said. “It’s almost like we’re slightly changing the genre. And I think it works.”

This is what has been confirmed about “You” season 4 so far.

Season 4 of ‘You’ will premiere in two parts

On Saturday, September 24, Netflix announced that part 1 of season 4 will premiere on February 10, 2023, and part 2 will premiere on March 10, 2023.

The fourth season of ‘You’ will be set in London

Joe made a jump from New York to Southern California in Season 3 of the show. For Season 4, he’s taking an even bigger leap, crossing the Atlantic for a stint in London.

At first, fans thought that the next season would take place in Paris, as Joe is wandering the Parisian streets at the end of Season 3. He may have gone to Europe to find Marianne (Tati Gabrielle), his librarian crush. that he said if he got custody of his daughter, he would move to Paris.

According to Eastern TimeBadgley said there’s a practical reason for the program’s relocation: It’s less expensive. “To be real, it’s cheaper,” he said, after confirming that they had filmed the first four episodes of the season so far.

Badgley also sweetly revealed that his wife and son accompanied him on the trip. His wife, Domino Kirke, is originally from England.

The plot will ‘evolve’, according to Badgley

Although there aren’t many confirmed plot details, Badgley said TODAY that season four will be “structured differently.”

“We’ve taken the format and it’s evolving. You’re not just seeing Joe in a different city…it’s a different kind of journey that he’s on,” Badgley told TODAY.

We’re not detectives, but if we follow past seasonal patterns, we’re making an educated guess that this “trip” will continue to consist of him murdering people.

“You” showrunner Sera Gamble said. ME! that he anticipated that Joe will inevitably have to deal with the loss of both his young son and his fatherhood.

“That’s going to be an ongoing conversation, because no, you can’t pretend that something that important about a character didn’t happen,” Gamble said. “I think it will shape him from this point forward. And even her exact plan of when and if she would come back for his child is something that … if we get to the writers room … we will meet and talk about.” for hours and hours and hours between snacks.

Season 4 of ‘You’ has no clear release date

No date has been released yet, though fans are predicting that, with the show’s previous release trajectory, it will come out around February 2023.

In addition to Badgley obviously playing Joe, we can expect Season 3 cast member Tati Gabrielle to return as Marienne. Marienne and Joe’s reunion, if it happens, will not be a happy one: before he died, Love told Marienne that Joe killed her ex-husband, Ryan. Love warned her to “disappear”, and Marienne clearly followed her advice.

There will be a host of new characters, and we’re not sure which one will survive the season. Deadline gave a summary of their

  • Tilly Keeper (“EastEnders”) will play Lady Phoebe, an aristocrat with a social media following.
  • Lukas Gage (“The White Lotus”) wants to play Adam, a wealthy expat who uses his family’s fortune to fuel his lifestyle, according to term. He is dating Phoebe.
