Amanda Cloots began dating again a year after the death of her husband Nick Cordero.
The 39-year-old TV host was devastated when the Broadway star passed away last July after spending more than 90 days in hospital battling the fallout from COVID-19.
And a year after Nick died, Amanda said she finally started dating again, which she finds both “frightening” and “wonderful.”
Speaking during an episode of The Conversation, she said, “Both of my husbands that I met on Broadway shows. First we became friends, then we got married. Obviously, we had a baby with Nick. I just started dating again, and it’s crazy to meet for the first time at 39 years old.
“It’s pretty scary and really not for you, and it’s just difficult. It’s difficult.
“I meet wonderful people and it has been a great process so far. But I’ll just say that it’s very difficult without going into details. ”
Amanda was married to David Larsen for six years before meeting Nick while working on Bullets Over Broadway.
She was married to the actor from 2017 until his death in 2020 and the couple have a two-year-old son named Elvis.
Earlier this month, Amanda celebrated the year since Nick’s death with a heartwarming Instagram slideshow of memories of their life together.
She signed the post: “One year. Today it hurts, there is no other way out. A year ago, you left us and became our angel in heaven. You were surrounded by such love and Led Zeppelin played on Spotify – no doubt that this is your business, not mine. What happened was unthinkable, losing you was my biggest fear. I told you all the time: “Don’t you dare go anywhere. If I have lost you, I don’t know what I ”will do. ‘”
