ICYMI, the Friends star opened up about her experience with the animal co-star during the HBO Max reunion special in May, making some serious complaints about the animal.

“The monkey did not do his job well,” he said with his co-stars in Friends: the reunion. “So we would have to reboot, we would have to go again because the monkey did not do well. This kept happening over and over again. “
“I would have dirty monkey hands all over the place,” he added. “It was time for Marcel to fuck off.”
Now, animal trainer Mike Morris has opened up about his experience with Marcel (real name: Katie) and Schwimmer on set, revealing that the actor seemed “jealous” that the primate was laughing more than he was.
“In the first two episodes, David Schwimmer was pretty good with monkeys,” Morris said recently. Sun. “After that, he seemed to get a little bitter about their presence. It made it more difficult to work with them.”
“Anyway, it is difficult to work on a five-camera show and if you have an actor who is not very useful, it makes it even more difficult,” he added. “The first two episodes he was pretty monkey-friendly and after that, the monkey was laughing a lot and was confusing him or getting a little jealous.

“That he continues to speak ill of the monkey all these years later seems quite childish to me.”
Morris also said he objects to Schwimmer speaking ill of Marcel, who recently died of cancer.
“The swimmers were badmouthing the dead when he made those comments,” Morris said. “I find it despicable that he continues to speak ill of her.”
The white-headed capuchin monkey was born in 1985 and appeared in eight episodes of the hit sitcom. His first credit was on ‘The One With The Monkey’ and concluded with ‘The One After The Superbowl, Part 2.’
