By Steven Lassan, Athlon Sports: USC’s Lincoln Riley and Utah’s Kyle Whittingham occupy the top spots in the Pac-12 coaching rankings for 2023, but the conference has added a lot of depth in recent seasons. Washington’s Kalen DeBoer quickly emerged as one of the Pac-12’s top coaches after a strong 11-2 debut in Seattle last fall.
Oregon State is a program on the rise under coach Jonathan Smith, while Deion Sanders is ready to shake things up in Boulder. Also, Stanford’s signing of Troy Taylor should get the program back on track, and Kenny Dillingham is the right choice to help Arizona State reach its Pac-12 potential.
