Marching Forward: After Aaron Finch’s early dismissal, David Warner, in the company of Mitchell Marsh, attacked the New Zealand pacers with an aggressive twist in PowerPlay. Warner took a liking to Ish Sodhi’s leg-spin, leading him to two fours and a six in the ninth over. He hit a fifty by 34 with a Jimmy Neesham max in the eleventh over before being thrown cleanly by Trent Boult. Warner and Marsh added 92 for the second wicket.
