More speed! One bolt in part gave Newbern and Finnegan another 5mph from the LS jet boat!
We are used to seeing Finnegan and Newbern wrestling with a variety of cars and trucks and, of course, boats. This LS powered jet boat is one that made their faces smile, but not without some frustrating moments as half of what they tried to install on it didn’t fit perfectly for one reason or another. In this latest video, they got the thing to go 5mph faster, in one shot, with a bolt-on part that really fit the first time!
Here is the description of the video:
It is rare when a product works as advertised AND mounts as it should. This is not a sponsored video, we are just broadcasting the good vibes about an excellent product from Place Diverter and Controls. In episode 170 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage we swapped the nozzles on the back of our Berkeley jet drive, which powers our 1976 Rogers Bonneville TR and EARNED three miles per hour of top speed. Our butt-dyno also says that this mod also increased the boat’s holeshot. We also adjusted the nozzle angle and gained another two mph of top speed. The nozzle swap took less than twenty minutes to complete and required no drilling, wiring and grinding. It was that easy! Do you want more information? go here: https://www.placediverter.com/
