Brandon Miller sees the Hornets in the Finals next year – News Block

It’s safe to say that Brandon Miller has no qualms about making bold claims. Being drafted second overall by the Hornets, the 20-year-old calmly said that he believes Charlotte will be in the NBA Finals next year.

while talking to WCNC’s Ashley StroehleinmMiller was asked how he sees fitting in with the Hornets. However, his response veered into a brazen statement about the future of the team.

“Like you said, just making all the winning plays,” Miller said. “Do what the team needs him to do. I see the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Finals next year. So hopefully we’ll get that big trophy at the end.”

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Miller has made a baffling statement. Earlier this week, the former Alabama forward explained that the GOAT of basketball of him is Paul George.

“In fact, I don’t think LeBron is the GOAT of basketball,” Miller said. “My basketball GOAT is Paul George. I grew up watching him, so he’s never just LeBron.”

In his final season as the Crimson Tide, Miller averaged 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. Also, aside from first overall pick Victor Wembanyama, Miller is considered the most versatile scorer in his class in the draft.
