However, Brendan noted that because they are doing the renovation right now, “they can’t actually live in the house.”

As a result, his plan was: “To be in a glamping tent on the property, which is quite nice, although if it gets too hot, which I’m afraid it may be, we may come back.” She continued: “We have stayed in it from time to time with the children. And we had a gin craze moment probably three or four months ago when, during a couple of trips to Majorca.”

Brendan and Zoe had their first child in 2012, a girl named Aurelia. Six years later, in 2018, they welcomed their second child, a boy named Dante.

Why did Brendan Cole leave Strictly Come Dancing?

Brendan was one of the cast members of OG Strictly Come Dancing and appeared on the show in 2004. He was also the first professional to win the coveted Glitterball trophy and win the BBC One show with host and newscaster Natasha Kaplinsky.

But 15 years later, he left his fans devastated when he announced that he would be leaving in 2018. And according to the dancer himself, his departure was due to an “editorial decision.”

He explained about Lorraine: “The BBC have not renewed my contract. We renew ourselves year after year. And they made the editorial decision not to have me on the show again. I’m a bit in shock. I’m pretty emotional, a little raw about it.”
