Britney SpearsEx-husband Jason Alexander, who was married to pop icon ‘Toxic’ for a total of 55 hours in 2004, has claimed that his team forced an end to their marriage against his wishes.
On a recent podcast episode Toxic: The Britney Spears StoryAlexander, now 39, said Spears’ team forced him to sign documents that would end their marriage while also allowing the duo to pursue their relationship in the future.

“They told me that if I signed the contracts, the annulment, they would let Britney and me continue our relationship, and if we felt the same way in six months, they would give us a proper marriage,” Alexander said, saying immediately afterward. his marriage dissolved, the team of hitmaker ‘Womanizer’ tried to dissuade him.
“So I had no reason to believe otherwise,” he continued.
“I thought that was the truth. They allowed Britney and I to still have phone communication. So we were talking every day and I still believed the story they told me, that they were going to let us keep talking and then we would have this marriage … in the future if we feel the same. “

Alexander also claimed that a month after signing the annulment, Spears’ phone number stopped working.
“Literally the day after, like, the 30 days were up, I remember trying to call the number I had for Britney and it was like, ‘Beep, beep, beep [imitating a call disconnect sound], ‘”he said.
“I was like, ‘Fuck, they caught me! Shit!’ So that was it. “
Alexander has openly supported the Free Britney movement, even attending a rally in Los Angeles to protest her guardianship in August of last year.
“I’m here to show my support for the #FreeBritney movement and for Britney,” Alexander said at the time.
“This is an unfortunate situation that has been in her life for a long time. It has affected her and me, and that makes me a part of it. I have been quiet for 10 years and I feel [like] what a good time to step up now that the movement is making noise and the guardianship hearings are underway. “

Spears and Alexander, who were childhood friends, tied the knot in Las Vegas on January 3, 2004 in the middle of the night before their marriage was annulled 55 hours later.
Six months later, she married her ex-husband. Kevin Federline, with whom he has two children.
