Starting to sweat! Three months after giving birth Brittany cartwright gave his Instagram followers a glimpse of his weight loss journey.
“Every story is different and this is mine”, the Vanderpump Rules 32-year-old student, captioned on a Friday, July 16, took a selfie on her Instagram Story. “I will be here every day. (Maybe a day off lol.) #Postpartumweightlossjourney “.
In another social media upload, the former reality star reminded herself to “make sure I don’t wear mascara because mom is going to sweat.”
The Kentucky native and her husband, Jax taylor, welcomed her son, Cruz, in April. The following month, the new mom exclusively told her Us weekly about the bodily shame she suffered during pregnancy.
“I got so many bad comments about my weight gain,” Cartwright explained in May. “They were comparing me a lot to Stassi [Schroeder] other Scheana [Shay] other Lala [Kent]. … I’ve always been bigger than them, but my weight has always fluctuated and stuff. So it was hard to see all those comments about my weight when I was healthy and the baby was healthy. “
The former Bravo personality “definitely cried a lot” over the hate messages. “You are already so excited. And then like, I was in [coronavirus] in quarantine, I was at home, so I looked at my phone more than I should, ”he explained. “There were times when I was ashamed of how I looked, and I shouldn’t have felt that way.”
Cartwright noted at the time that 30-year-old Kent, who gave birth to daughter Ocean in March, appeared not to have a baby “two days later,” calling the Give them Lala author “a damn queen”.
“My body is completely different,” concluded Cartwright. “It is going to be a long journey for me to regain my weight.”
That same month, Cartwright posted an Instagram Story photo of her postpartum body at five weeks, saying she was “feeling good” despite having a “long way to go.” She added that “I was not so sore” and “was beginning to feel like [her]me again “.
Cartwright and Taylor, 42, tied the knot in June 2019 and announced the news of her pregnancy a year later. Cartwright documented her tummy’s progress through Instagram prior to Cruz’s arrival, even applauding Instagram trolls who criticized her tummy size in November 2020.
“Some of you are sad and I wish you happiness one day,” he wrote at the time.
