The big House Republican move to boost Trump was largely ignored as cable news was left talking about the missing Titanic submarine.
Here’s how CNN covered Schiff’s censorship:
Censorship got about a minute of coverage on CNN’s 7 pm hour, which was more than it got on MSNBC at 6 or 7 pm CNN spent almost a half hour on the Titanic submarine, 5 minutes or so Trump, a little time in the Ukraine, and then he went back to the missing submarine.
Schiff’s censorship was all over Newsmax and will get a lot of play on Fox News, but overall, Adam Schiff’s censorship has fallen into the predictable media pattern of House Republicans doing things to help or appease Trump who are not noticed outside of the right-wing media bubble.
House Republicans have complained about how their stories don’t get any traction outside of conservative media.
The reason is that Republicans in the House are promoting Russian disinformation as the Biden bribery allegation, or they are engaging in heavy-handed partisan tricks like censoring Adam Schiff.
Kevin McCarthy’s Appeasement of Trump it can’t compete with the drama of a missing submarine near the wreck of the Titanic.
The Republicans tried to generate attention and help Trump. They have failed again.
