VICTORIA, BC (March 1, 2023)
Canadian Sport Institute Pacific (CSI Pacific) and all employees, Board members, contractors and interns have signed the agreement to join Abuse-Free Sport, the independent program created to prevent and address abuse in sport.
By registering, CSI Pacific now has access to the services provided by the Office of the Sports Integrity Commissioner (OSIC), which serves as the central hub for Abuse-Free Sport.
As part of joining Abuse-Free Sport, CSI Pacific has completed full adoption of the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Abuse in Sport (UCCMS). All required policy updates have also been completed.
CSI Pacific participants will also continue to have access to independent third-party services through ITP Sport: https://itpsport.ca/
