Champions League top scorers 2021-2022: updated golden shoe ranking

There is a household name at the top of the UEFA Champions League scorer chart: Bayern Munich Robert Lewandowski. After the hat-trick on matchday four, the Polish international catapulted to the top of the table, one ahead of Champions League top scorer, Ajax Amsterdam Sebastian Haller.

Haller has scored in every goal Ajax has played. He exploded for four goals in Ajax’s opening round match and then scored one goal in the next three to reach seven goals for the tournament. Both Lewandowski and Haller achieved an already impressive result when you consider that last season’s top scorer, Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, had the best overall score of the tournament with 10.

But keep an eye out for superstars Mo Salah (Liverpool) e Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) who are both lurking behind the two first places. Ronaldo scored twice against Atalanta to go to five goals, also going with Salah who didn’t find the bottom of the net against Atletico Madrid. The forward of RB Leipzig Christopher Nkunku joins the rarefied club after scoring against PSG.
