Chris Harrison has reportedly missed another concert in the wake of his scandal. The 49-year-old star will not return to his hosting duties on the show “Bachelor in Paradise,” according to multiple reports. He had recently stepped aside from his hosting duties for “The Bachelorette” after defending a contestant who went to an Antebellum themed party, yet his future with the different franchise entries was indistinct.
Chris Harrison won’t appear on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
Insiders revealed to Variety that the show will be hosted by a group of famous comedians, including “Saturday Night Live” alumnus David Spade. Different comedians’ names have been released, however Spade’s deal is the one that has been struck in particular, depending on the power source. Also, the show won’t be hosted by alumni like the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette,” which will see Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe take the rules. A source revealed to Page Six that Spade stepped closer in light of the fact that “the producers need to put some fun into the show. They think it has become excessively genuine. “
Fox News has connected with representatives from “Bachelor in Paradise,” Harrison and Spade. The inconvenience began for Harrison in February, at a time when photographs of “Bachelor” contestant Rachael Kirkconnell attending the pre-annulment theme party used to resurface. In an interview with former “Bachelorette” Rachel Lindsay, who is a black lady, she came to Kirkconnell’s defense.
“We as a whole need to have a little grace, a little understanding, a little sympathy,” he said at the time. “Since I’ve seen some things online – this judge, jury, executioner thing – where people are just tearing up the life of this current separated young woman and diving into, like her parents, her parents’ voting history.” He added, “It’s unimaginably alarming to see this. I haven’t heard Rachael talk about this yet. What’s more, until I actually hear this lady get a chance to speak, who am I to say any of this?” he apologized for his comments. Regardless of whether he will return to “The Bachelor”, it remains confusing.
