Columbia Care appoints Julie Hill as a member of its board of directors

Hill, an experienced member of the international corporate board, brings his expertise in governance and strategy

NEW YORK – Columbia Care Inc. (NEO: CCHW) (CSE: CCHW) (OTCQX: CCHWF) (FSE: 3LP) (“Columbia Care” or the “Company”), one of the growers, manufacturers and suppliers of products of cannabis for medical and adult use in the US, has appointed Julie Hill to its Board of Directors. His appointment expands the board to eight members.

Ms. Hill has spent more than two decades serving on a variety of public and private corporate boards of directors. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Lord Abbett Family of Funds, a $ 225 billion mutual fund management firm based in New Jersey. Most recently, Ms. Hill served on the Board of Directors of Anthem, a Fortune 50 company, and the largest health insurance company in the US by member. He was also previously on the Boards of Directors of Lendlease, a publicly traded international construction, development, investment and management company, and at Holcim (USA), the US operation of a Swiss company, as well as in several other public companies.

Prior to her last 20 years serving on Boards of Directors, she founded and led several companies, primarily in the real estate development and investment industry, and was a senior executive at numerous publicly traded companies, including Mobil Land, a division of Mobil. Oil, and the UK-based Costain Group. In addition to her vast experience on the boards of directors of public companies, Ms. Hill is actively involved in numerous philanthropic and social endeavors. She is currently chair of the board of trustees of the University of California at Irvine (UCI) and is a board member of Leaders’ Quest and the Alliance for SoCal Innovation. She is a member of the International Women’s Forum and the Los Angeles Trusteeship, and was a former member of the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Ms. Hill has traveled to Burma to work with refugees and is an advocate for several human rights organizations and several international women’s rights philanthropic organizations. She has received the Amelia Earhart Award from the Women’s Opportunities Center, as well as the Glass Ceiling Award from the American Red Cross. He earned a BA in English from UCLA and an MA in Marketing from the University of Georgia.
