Covid Victoria Lockdown Restrictions: Melbourne and Regional Vic Explain New Coronavirus Rules |  Victory

Victoria has extended its “circuit breaker lockdown” from seven days to 14 days in response to the growing Covid cluster in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

The initial seven-day lockdown applied to the entire state through Thursday, June 3, however, on Wednesday, June 2, with over 350 exhibition sites, the Victorian government announced that the lockdown would be extended to the metropolitan area of Melbourne, with some small changes, until 11:59 pm on Thursday. June 10th.

The following rules apply from 11:59 pm on Thursday June 3 to the Melbourne metropolitan area and regional Victoria.
