Delayed Apple Savings withdrawals get a $100 credit – News Block

Some Apple Savings customers get a $100 credit after waiting for their money to be withdrawn on the financial platform.

In June, withdrawal issues affected Apple Savings after customers tried to get their money and had to wait an excessive amount of time for the transaction to process. There were several Apple Savings customers who had to wait weeks before they could see the money transferred. To resolve the issue, Apple sent an email and a $100 ‘goodwill credit’ that appears in their accounts.

Apple further explained that the wait times were “not up to par”, but did not mention the reason. Goldman Sachs explained that an anti-money laundering protocol was activated when sums of $1,000 or more were withdrawn. Those who withdrew less than the amount were able to receive them in a short period of time. The number of people who received the credit and email has not been disclosed.
