New Delhi: The Delhi Capitals recorded a thrilling 15-run win over the Punjab Kings at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on Wednesday. Player of the match Rilee Rossouw played a brilliant 82* run strike from 37 balls to help the Delhi franchise to a total of 213/2 from their 20 overs. Later, the Delhi Capitals restricted Punjab Kings to 198/8.
Speaking about the game, Rossouw said, “Very happy that Delhi Capitals got the win. The fans deserve it. They have been supporting us all season.”
Rilee Rossouw and Prithvi Shaw struck up a spirited 28-ball 54-run partnership to give the Delhi Capitals innings more momentum after a starting position of 94 runs. When asked about batting with Prithvi, the South African said: “I enjoyed batting into a good wicket and expressing my talent. Prithvi and I had fun in the middle. We didn’t have serious conversations. It was a pleasure to bat with someone.” that he was so relaxed.”
Rossouw also added that the team will fight to the last ball in their next game against Chennai Super Kings: “We talked about playing free before our game against Punjab Kings.
