“I’m done having relationships at this point,” the actor explained. “But the fact that I say that, that I feel uncomfortable being alone, that’s a bad thing. So, I decided to be alone for a while.”

Split rumors previously surfaced in May 2022 after photos of Los Angeles hot spot partying musician Delilah surfaced showing the “Mona Lisa” artist mingling with other women, the gossip account of Instagram DeuxMoi reported that the couple had been separated for some time.

However, a fan posted a TikTok video of the couple holding hands at the Outside Lands Music Festival in August 2022, leading fans to believe they are still together. “My heart,” one online user commented, while another joked: “Rue is going to be angry.”

Hunter apparently put those breakup rumors to rest in December when he posted a sweet birthday tribute to his man.

“Happy birthday to the softest (boyfriend) in the world,” she shared via her Instagram Story on Dec. 30. “I LOVE UU (sic),” she added.

The couple apparently confirmed their relationship a month later when Dominic shared a photo via his Instagram Story kissing the actress at a table.

The musician joined Euphoria for its second season and tried to cause drama for Hunter’s character and his girlfriend, Rue, played by zendaya.

In the series, Elliot and Rue develop a friendship that leads them to use drugs together. Rue, Jules and Elliot eventually form a bond, and Rue and Elliot keep their drug use a secret. However, things take a turn when Jules and Elliot start making out behind Rue’s back.

Prior to the season 2 premiere, Hunter was initially skeptical of Dominic’s character and the love triangle that would spark between Jules and Rue.

“We saw more of what he brought to the story and the script, it became a more interesting and exciting perspective, and once Dom came on board he made it a lot of fun,” Hunter said. Variety in January 2022.

The “Elliot’s Song” singer joked to the outlet: “I can’t wait to see where people go with that and all the hate messages I’ll get on my Instagram… and hide.” I can not wait.
