Boise, based in Id. Engage Technologies Group closed a $ 15 million Series A funding round for its mobile patient platform targeting the cosmetic, optometry, dental and orthopedic industries.
Founded in 2016, the Engage Technologies platform enables patients to access educational video content on routine care and procedures. The healthcare startup was founded by the CEO Michael boerner. Total funding to date is $ 20 million.
The company will use the funds to enter new markets and develop more video content. Funding comes from individual healthcare professionals, most of whom are clients.
Along with the new funding, Engage Technologies added new members to its board of directors, including:
- USC W. Grant Stevens Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery
- Jerry Sude, Co-Founder and President of Novus Clinic
- Former President of the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Robert J. Cionni
- Founder and President of McRae Dental Lon McRae
