Just on the eve of the eternal premiere on the red carpet, we learned that Disney has delayed many MCU films, postponing releases for several months. The surprise delay impacted all of next year’s MCU films. This includes the highly anticipated Doctor Strange 2 release delay. Kevin Feige explained this during interviews at the premiere, saying it’s all due to production problems. He said we should wait a few more months for the MCU movies to release, not to mention the distribution changes or the pandemic. Previous reports said Disney won’t change the release approach by going back to a model day and date it tried. Black Widow.

But then a rumor emerged, revealing the potential reason Marvel found itself having to delay Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness and all the stories of next year’s MCU. If this report is accurate, Marvel fans should be thrilled with the Doctor Strange 2 delay. Attention, a multiverse of spoilers follows below.

The many Multiverse of madness losses

Marvel shot most of it Doctor Strange 2 early 2021, with shots taken during the summer. The film originally had a release date of March 25, 2022, or three months after Spider-Man: No Way Home first. Both films are multiverse adventures that could be directly related. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) appears in both.

With all of this in mind, we weren’t surprised to see Multiverse of madness Plot leaks have caught on in recent weeks. We have also seen a complete plot escape who revealed everything about the film. We believe we know who is the main villain?, how the action takes place e how the movie ends. The loss also mentioned most of the big cameos.

We won’t try any of these massive spoilers again now. But the point is, leaks made more sense than any 2020 Doctor Strange 2 losses for the above reasons. The film is already in post-production before its release, so the details have been defined.

This brings us to the brand new rumor that explains why Marvel has decided to reject Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. Again, I will mention it some big spoilers will follow below.

The Doctor Strange 2 release delay

The pandemic and box office performance could be constant concerns for Disney and Marvel. But these may not be the most significant reasons for dismissing the entire 2022 MCU movie list. Again, when Marvel has to delay an MCU title, that impacts all MCU Phase 4 release plans because everyone these projects are interconnected.

According to well-informed YouTuber Grace Randolph, the test audience identified problems with the story with There is no way to go home Other Doctor Strange 2 which may need to be fixed.

Randolph explained that he is hearing that both are “kitchen sink” movies. The test audience felt that both stories needed more work. It may be too late for Spider-Man, but the YouTuber notes that Sony’s film may be delayed. Also, both films are “up to the limit” when it comes to visual effects. And Marvel is working with “very tight and stressful deadlines”.

Marvel still has time to solve the problem Doctor Strange 2 history. Randolph said Marvel is giving Multiverse of madness wide shots. It’s not just to solve the story’s problems, “but to add many more characters”. Marvel executives reportedly thought they were “too light on Easter eggs to please fans. This should be the Multiverse of madness, not the Meh’s multiverse. “

The surprising Doctor Strange 2 cameos

In early 2020, we heard all sorts of craziness Doctor Strange 2 voices. This happened long before the movie was released, at a time when Marvel hadn’t even started shooting it. Those rumors offered wild cameo claims that included Deadpool, Wolverine and other X-Men and a version of Iron Man.

The rumors about late 2021 cameos are quite different for the reasons we explained above. Marvel completed most of the film, so people got access to current information. The leaks I mentioned earlier gave us some exciting cameos for the film, including a prominent member of the X-Men of the Fox universe who could lead the Illuminati into the MCU.

Without naming names, Randolph claims his sources confirmed some of the leaks around. “There are some pretty interesting characters that will appear as part of the Illuminati,” he said.

The YouTuber added that Multiverse of madness will still sound like a Doctor Strange film rather than an Avengers crossed. But apparently Marvel has decided it needs more characters, so it’s putting them in. In turn, filming will delay post-production work. And this is presumably the reason why Doctor Strange 2 the release was delayed.

Other successful cameos

There has been so much speculation about cameos in upcoming MCU films. Since when eternal is out, now we are waiting Spider-Man: No Way Home like the next movie. It has long been speculated that the multiverse allows us to see the Spider-Men of the most recent Spider-Man franchises starring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. They could be alongside Tom Holland.

Recently, it is possible that photo from the set leaked to prove that this is so. Surprise cameos may also include Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. We already know that Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) will be in the film, as he appeared in the first trailer. We are still waiting for the second trailer with as much patience as we can.

And Loki?

Speaking of exciting cameos, Murphy’s multiverse updated his post on the future of MCU Phase 4 with the new release date. The Doctor Strange 2 The section still mentions Loki (Tom Hiddleston) as one of the movie’s surprise cameos. We have always expected to see Loki in the film, but the detailed storyline we saw recently made no mention of this character. Loki is partly responsible for the multiverse chaos, which is something Strange doesn’t know yet. Randolph, however, makes no mention of the God of evil. And Murphy’s post isn’t enough to confirm Hiddleston’s involvement in the project.

Finally, there is another reason to consider when looking at this movie’s release schedule. Marvel needs time to promote it. Because of its ties to Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel may not be able to release an actual trailer before the Spider-Man movie hits theaters. This would be done to avoid spoiling any There is no way to go home secrets.
