Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has created a “healthy ecosystem” for fish on his farm.
The wrestler-turned-actor enjoys pond fishing on his Virginia property, and was brought to Instagram to emphasize that he always goes out of his way to take care of bigmouth bass and other fish in the water.
Along with a video of Dwayne taking a perch out of a pond, showing it on camera, and then releasing it back into the water, he wrote: “It’s a joy to raise fish and create a healthy ecosystem for them.
“Bigmouth bass, striped bass (hybrid) and many others – they are big, aggressive and hungry – just like their owner.
“Life is full and noisy, so I love going back to my farm in Virginia – it’s good for the soul. #Manafarms
“(you see, I don’t like to just throw the fish back into the water. Their bodies are already in a state of shock and lactic acid has accumulated, so I put them back and help return oxygen to their lungs. [thumbs-up emoji]) (sic) “
Dwayne, who is one of the highest paid movie stars in the world, also spoke about his determination to take care of fish in an accompanying video.
Pointing a largemouth bass on camera, the Jungle Cruise star explained, “It has a beautiful color, as you can see … As you guys know, I raise my bass here. They have a pretty good appetite. them. [I’m] Gonna bring her back – say goodbye!
“She has a good old mouth – like her mistress!”
Dwayne, 49, then carefully lowered the fish into the water and turned back to the camera.
The Hollywood star said, “She’s back with her family, she’s happy.”
