Ezra Miller Responds To Protection Order Lifting, Claims They Were Targeted ‘Unfairly’ – Socialite Life – News Block

A temporary harassment order against The flash actor Ezra Miller it expired in Massachusetts on Friday after a court hearing, according to reports.

The protection order was filed against Miller by a mother who had accused Miller of acting inappropriately with her non-binary 12-year-old son. The accusations were published in the daily beast last year amid a series of other complaints (and arrests) involving the actor.

In a statement posted to Instagram, Miller, who also identifies as non-binary, said they were “unfairly and directly targeted” by an individual with a history of “manipulative and destructive actions.”

They wrote that protective orders are intended to safeguard families and children and not to be “weaponized by those seeking attention or fleeting tabloid fame or some kind of personal vendetta.”

They also called on members of the media “who have recklessly spread false claims” to hold themselves to “a higher standard” rather than “chasing clicks.”

In his statement, the actor clarified that very few people stayed with them during their difficult times. The actor stated that they have been doing better to preserve their own well-being and are trying to reverse the collateral damage that has been done to them.

“I want everyone to know that I continue to do everything I can to preserve my own well-being and what I can to reverse the collateral damage this ordeal has caused me and those close to me.”

“Finally, to all of you, many beings in this world who have had the enormous courage to see me through it all and make it through here with me, I will spend a lot of time trying to explain what it has meant to have your support. You have my eternal gratitude, admiration and love.
