Floyd Mayweather Jr. Partners with Enhance Health to Expand Access to Healthcare – News Block

Health insurance brokerage and care navigation platform Enhance Health announced it is partnering with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. to expand access to health care in low-income communities.

Through the exclusive partnership, Enhance and Mayweather plan to advocate for wellness, equality, and comprehensive and accessible healthcare, while also leveraging the resources of Enhance and the Mayweather brand.

“Everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life. I am proud to partner with Enhance Health to ensure that families from all walks of life can access the health care they need to thrive. Together, we can make a difference and achieve positive change to communities across the country,” Mayweather said in a statement.

In 2019, Mayweather founded The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on economic growth and development, community health and wellness, and youth education.

A number of celebrities have made their way into the healthcare space, including the US tennis champion. Andy Roddick, who announced a partnership in June with Glen Tullman’s Transcarent, a digital platform focused on the self-insured employer market.

Roddick’s ViewFi, a technology-enabled virtual orthopedics and rehabilitation platform, has partnered with Transcarent to provide patients with virtual musculoskeletal and orthopedic care through Transcarent’s consultation solution.

fellow tennis champion Serena Williams started her venture fund in 2014, called Serena Ventures, which has invested in connected fitness company Tonal, in-office and virtual healthcare provider Juno Medical, and cervical cancer screening company in the Teal Health home.

Williams also endorsed Lifeforce, a personalized healthcare platform based on a telehealth model that was co-founded by motivational speaker Tony Robbins.
