A recent data leak confirms that dinosaurs are coming to the game, along with domesticated wolves, chickens, and wild boars.
You would have already seen the piles of dinosaur bones and eggs in the season 6 map update for Fortnite. The game appears to be the first battle royale to incorporate extinct creatures, or any animal for that matter. A recent leak by data miners has given this theory solid backing, after a string in the game’s code referred to the find of a “wild raptor.”
Fortnite It took the video game world by storm when it came out in 2017, and is now one of the biggest and most played games out there. The game added a unique twist to the Battle Royale genre by allowing players to create building structures by mining and collecting materials. The game also brought in characters from other franchises and hosted virtual concerts and movie screenings for the past 3 years.
According to some Twitter users, wild raptors, wolves and wild boars have been added to the mix. The word “dino” is in many of the game files. Players can kill wolves and boars and can also be used to kill others. Chickens are also available for taming and hunting. The gameplay will get a lot crazier.
It’s currently unclear when the dinosaurs will make their way to the map, but if this data leak is to be believed, the ancient reptiles will be added to the current season of the game. Season 6 just started on Thursday, so there is plenty of time to add new features for developers. We will just have to wait patiently for the progress of the official announcement.
