Four children have been taken to hospital after an attraction at Planet Fun collapsed in Carrickfergus Harbor, County Antrim.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday after a vehicle collapsed.
Three children were taken to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and one boy was taken to the Antrim Area hospital.
It is understood that your injuries are not life threatening.
Several other children suffered leg injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
Four emergency teams, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance attended the scene.
The amusement park has been closed tonight.
In a statement, a Planet Fun spokesperson said: “Important update. Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, Planet Fun will be closed tonight for the session from 7.30 to 10.30 pm
“All tickets will be automatically refunded. There will be more updates. “
Stewart Dickson, Alliance MLA for East Antrim, said: “I am concerned about reports of an accident at the amusement park on Saturday.
“I understand from the first reports that the injuries are not serious and I hope they continue to be so.
“After this, it is now important that the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the City Council of Mid and East Antrim carry out a thorough investigation into the circumstances of what happened.”
It is understood that the amusement park was recently opened in the area.
In a statement, a spokesman for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) said three fire engines, a specialized rescue team and the Red Cross attended the scene.
The air ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.
The HSE has also been informed of the incident, which is ongoing.
