Global Healing Appoints New CEO and President – News Block

Global Healing, a leader in the natural health industry, announces the appointment of former President Julio Torres to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Molly Latham, who currently serves as CFO, will jointly assume the roles of president and chief financial officer.

Dr. Edward Group III, DC, the founder of Global Healing, will step down as CEO and serve as President and Advisor, focusing on educational initiatives, speaking engagements, and innovation projects.

Mr. Torres, who has been with Global Healing for 19 years, will assume the role of CEO when the company celebrates its 25th anniversary. Dr. Group announced the new positions to employees at the Global Healing anniversary event, held last week in Scottsdale, Arizona.

During his tenure at Global Healing, Mr. Torres has led several major expansions. He started as CTO, helping the team build the company’s online health library and spearheading the growth of its e-commerce capabilities. By developing new partnerships with markets, Mr. Torres has also helped Global Healing reach a much broader and more diverse customer base. In 2018, he assumed the role of president and worked with Dr. Group and Ms. Latham to scale manufacturing and take over production of all Global Healing products.

“I am ready for the next chapter and excited to lead Global Healing’s growth trajectory,” explained Mr. Torres. “We will continue to build on the incredible legacy of Dr. Group while staying focused on helping people on their journey to better health.”

Ms. Latham has also been with Global Healing for 19 years. As CFO, she was an important contributor to strategy and organizational development, while managing the company’s resources and maintaining its strong fiscal health and performance.

Together with Dr. Group, Mr. Torres and Ms. Latham transformed Global Healing from an alternative cancer clinic to a developer, manufacturer, distributor and retailer of natural health products in 95 countries around the world. Turning their attention to education, they also helped launch the company’s new online health school, Global Healing Institute.
