Google will reportedly launch its next Pixel device in June this year. According to forecaster Jon prosser, who generally provides leaks and information on upcoming Apple products, the tech giant will launch a Pixel device and new Pixel buds on June 11, 2021. The insider also mentioned that he is not sure which Pixel device will be featured at the event. . .
Google launched its flagship Pixel 5 device in October last year and it is unlikely to launch its successor so soon. However, the device to be launched in June could be the Pixel 5a, which would still be a few months earlier.

Renders for Google Pixel 5a also appeared recently. There were hardly any changes to the design of the Pixel 4a 5G, as it looked almost identical. However, the dimensions were a bit different, making the next device a bit thicker and taller. The phone also had a 6.2-inch OLED screen, but the refresh rate has not been revealed. Perhaps the affordable version borrows a 90Hz refresh rate from the Pixel 5. The camera also looked similar to the Pixel 4a 5G. A cropped selfie camera on the front and a dual camera setup on the back. There are no leaks on which processor it will work with, but it will likely be one from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 700 series.
Previously, the insider also revealed that Google is working on a Pixel smartphone with a folding screen. According to a report by The ElecGoogle, among other companies, has asked Samsung to manufacture the folding panel. The report also reveals that the size of the foldable OLED screen will be 7.6 inches. The panel size is the same as that used in the South Korean smartphone maker’s Galaxy Z Fold 2.
