Dubai-based Hilshaw Group has been selected as financial advisers and consultants for the planned Athi River Smart Green City project in Nairobi.
Kenya’s Jetblack Group (Jetblack Energy), which is behind the proposed 4,500 acres in Athi River Smart Green City, said in a statement that they have planned for the project to be a pollution-free environment where all of the city’s energy production it will be carried out through a residual power plant. .
According to the developer, the green infrastructure and urban planning of the proposed city is being carried out to meet post-pandemic requirements and social variations.

The development will house an autonomous community that includes commercial offices, commercial spaces, restaurants, hotels and a green tourist center, golf course, schools, universities, community centers, hospitals, sports, leisure and entertainment facilities, in addition to more than 4,000 . residential units, the developer said.

The developers plan to begin project development in May next year and open the first phase in late 2025.
