In the recent mid-season premiere, Andrew Deluca’s character said goodbye to fans for the last time as he will no longer be a part of the show. After Andrew was mortally wounded after he tried to expose a sex dealer and was stabbed. As doctors struggled to save him and investigate the injury, Andrew soon succumbed to his injuries on the operating table.
Sereis leader Ellen Pompeo has written a heartfelt post on her social media for her co-star and said that she is excited for her future and now is the time for Giacomo Gianniotti to use her skills put in the world, Ellen too He said that wine and pasta will always be part of their friendship!

Sereis Director Ellen Pompeo writes a farewell post for Giacomo Gianniotti!
Giacomo Gianniotti republished the post and talked about his last day on set at the beach with the beauty of the wavy beach. Series showrunner Krista Vernoff has addressed her decision to end Andrew’s story on the long-running series.
As he talks about death, he explains how the writers are just as grieved by the stories as we are, but it’s all part of the storytelling. He concluded the note by thanking Giacomo for his talent, grace, and meticulous acting.
