Groupize launches new compensation and workflow improvements

On Wednesday, the Groupize Meeting Management Platform announced new pay-as-you-go plans and workflow improvements for attendees.

The new pricing structure for registration and the Groupize app, available immediately, offers customers three tiered options based on expected attendance – 100, 500 and 2,000 attendees – that they can purchase online with a credit card. There is no annual contract. In addition to company registration and attendee app functionality, each option includes services that include choosing event templates and themes, and up to four hours of implementation and training. Additional assistance is available on an hourly basis.

“We are seeing a wave of events that need to kick off overnight as meetings resume,” Groupize chief customer officer Charles de Gaspe Beaubien said in a statement. “Registration must start in hours, not weeks.”

Improved workflow is geared towards managing more complex events for travel registration and logistics, for example for projects and crews. Using conditional logic, the platform allows planners to offer registration flows differentiated by type of participant for forms, applications and admission tickets. Hotel sub-blocks and airline booking routes are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2021. Pay-as-you-go customers will also have access to the attendee-type functionality.

Additionally, Groupize announced that it will direct a portion of its pay-as-you-go transaction revenue towards carbon removal initiatives.
