Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will write a book on “leadership.”
It was recently revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a four-book deal with Penguin Random House, and it is now believed that under those four books – one of which is Harry’s own memoir – the couple will release a book on “leadership and philanthropy” together, in while Meghan also plans to write her own memoir, following in her husband’s footsteps.
A source said in column six of the New York Post: “With this constant buzz of all the ads for Harry, you have to imagine that Meghan’s watch face will be enlarged.
“One would only think that she would certainly write her memoirs – she frankly told everyone who knows her about her political aspirations in the future.”
The redheaded queen co-wrote the book with ghost writer J.R. Mehringer, but the memoir has no title yet.
The publisher’s commercial says: “In an intimate and heartfelt flashback to one of the most interesting and influential figures of our time, Prince Harry will share for the first time a comprehensive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that helped shape him.”
The description went on to say that Harry’s book would cover his “life in the public eye” as well as “the joy he found as a husband and father.”
Harry, 36, said his memoir will be a “first-hand account” of his life so far and will see the prince touch on the “mistakes” he made and the “lessons” he learned.
In his statement, he added: “I am writing this not as the prince I was born, but as the person I have become. I have worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and I hope that by telling my story – the ups and downs, mistakes, lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from , we have more in common than we think.
“I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I have learned in my life, and I am very glad that people will read an accurate and completely truthful first-hand account of my life.”
