A Nnamdi Azikiwe University professor identified as Chima Anolue was shot to death by his servant, HGS Medit Plus.
HGS Media Plus deduced that the incident occurred on Friday 14, 2023 in the village of Ifite in Awka Ibom.
Anolue was in the Department of Psychology at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka before he was killed.
The trouble started when the deceased asked the suspect to cook rice. The suspect was said to be cooking the rice when Anolue asked the suspect why he did not wash the plate.
Consequently, it got out of hand when the suspect refused to answer the question, and then the decedent angrily slapped him across the face, which in turn led to a physical confrontation.
The suspect took a mortar and hit him on the head.
The suspect was arrested and confessed to committing the crime.
