Human nature Singer Phil Burton leaves the iconic Australian vocal group after more than 30 years with the band.
In an interview with Stellar, Burton revealed that he will not be joining his bandmates, Toby Allen and brothers Michael and Andrew Tierney, for their upcoming residency in Las Vegas.

“I made a family decision,” he said. “Las Vegas was a fantastic experience, but it was time to go home. It was a difficult decision. I hope the guys do very well with a new show. As far as Australia is concerned, when there are opportunities to play, they will fly here. and I’ll get back on board, and we’ll be the four of us as usual. “
The singer also revealed that the coronavirus pandemic had “put things into stark reality” for him and his family.
Burton won’t be leaving the band permanently, although he’s not sure what his next move will be.
Singer and bandmate Toby Allen said they will have to rework the group’s vocal arrangements for a trio to the best of their ability.
News of Burton’s departure comes more than six months later Allen’s COVID-19 scare in Brisbane. In December last year, he traveled to Brisbane a day before the rest of the group and was on a flight from Sydney, which was later found to have a confirmed case of coronavirus on board.

As a result, the singer was forced into mandatory quarantine in a hotel for 14 days and eventually missed the group’s Christmas shows in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Canberra.
“Queensland Health has reported that the remaining members of the gang and any team that have come into contact with Toby Allen are considered close contact contacts and are not currently required to quarantine or undergo testing,” the group said in a statement issued on social networks. .
Human nature started his career in 1989 under the name 4 Trax before signing a deal with Sony six years later.
In 2019, the group was recognized on the Australia Day Honors list, with the children each receiving an Order of Australia medal for their services to the performing arts. The same year, they were also inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
They just released an EP titled Good good life, which features a track with Guy Sebastian. The group is currently on a regional tour in Australia, but will head to the capitals in August and September.
