Xtra Time Web Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced the Test and ODI squads for the upcoming series against the West Indies. The selectors opted to drop Cheteshwar Pujara from the Test squad.

Mumbai batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was in the reserves for the World Test Championship final, has been listed. Furthermore, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mukesh Kumar and Navdeep Saini have also found their place in the team. Mohammed Shami, for his part, will be rested for this tour. Ajinkya Rahane has been appointed as Rohit Sharma’s deputy for the Test series.
