Recently, Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah married host Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony in Goa. After their wedding photos, which went viral on social media, photos of their mehendi and haldi ceremony were posted. For haldi, the cricketer was seen wearing an Antar Agni kurta set, while Sanjana opted for a yellow Anavila brand jamdani saree. The sari is priced at Rs 64,000.
She complemented the look with statement earrings as they both posed for the camera with a broad smile.
For mehendi, they were both seen in Anita Dongre outfits and they looked lovely together. Sanjana opted for a lehenga hand-painted with traditional Pichwai art, inspired by the mystical forests of India, along with a hand-embroidered drop patti. In addition, it was embellished with dori, pearls, zari, zardosi, and sequins.
She complemented the look with statement earrings from the designer and completed it with her hair tied back in a messy knot.
Jasprit complemented her traditional look well with an off-the-shit sherwani that featured similar motifs decorated with Anita Dongre’s footwear.
For their wedding, the couple opted for the creations of Sabyasachi. The bride was seen in a pale pink lehenga embroidered with silk thread. The look was complemented by heritage jewelery made with the designer’s uncut diamonds.
The Indian cricketer, on the other hand, was seen wearing a raw silk sherwani by the designer. This was paired with a tussar-georgette shawl and accessorized with “strands of tourmaline and a kilangi studded with uncut diamonds and tourmaline from Sabyasachi’s traditional jewelry collection,” reports the designer’s Instagram page.
What do you think of her look?
