Jordan Young to Showrunner for Dan Harmon’s Fox Animated Comedy – News Block

Krapopolis has found its leader.

Jordan Young, who previously worked on The Simpsons and animated series including BoJack Horseman other Son of wrath, has been cast as the showrunner and executive producer of Dan Harmon’s Fox animated comedy series.

Young will work under Harmon’s supervision and will take care of the daily activities of the series. It is scheduled to premiere in 2022.

Created and produced by the Emmy winner Rick and morty co-creator and Community creator Harmon Krapopolis is set in mythical ancient Greece and centers on a flawed family of humans, gods, and monsters trying to rule one of the world’s first cities without killing each other.

Fox Pilots & Series 2021 Orders

It was the first series to be wholly owned and financed by Fox Entertainment and will be produced by Fox’s animation studio, Bento Box Entertainment. It is also the first series to advance under Fox’s streaming model and it is also the first animated series to be fully curated on blockchain.

Young began his career as an entertainer in The Simpsons before moving on to writing and producing Comedy Central Drawn together. He has also worked on series including It’s always sunny in Philadelphia, raising hope other Life in pieces.

Young is represented by UTA and Lev Ginsburg.
