The inauguration happened on Sunday. According to the report, the Trans Pride Society is an NGO led by Nisha Rao. In a social media post, she wrote about the “momentous beginning” and shared a series of images celebrating the happy and proud occasion.
“Trans Pride Stitch Shop is the first commercial tailor shop in Karachi run exclusively by members of the transgender community … Many congratulations to our tailors and members of the Trans Pride Society for this new venture! We wish you every success on your new journey. Trans Pride Society looks forward to welcoming you at the Trans Pride Tailor Shop located at UG Shop No 67.70, Jinnah Complex Apartment & Shopping Mall, MA Jinnah Road, Saddar, Karachi, Pakistan (sic), ”the caption read.
