Kate Beckinsale hasn’t seen her daughter Lily for two years.
The 47-year-old actress said that she was kept separate from her daughter due to the coronavirus pandemic and various restrictions.
The brunette beauty who has Lily with actor Michael Sheen shared, “I haven’t seen my daughter for two years because of everything. In addition, I went to Canada for work, and she was unable to come to me.
“Not seeing your child for two years is the most ridiculous thought.”
Despite this, Kate manages to maintain constant contact with her daughter thanks to FaceTime.
The London star told Live with Kelly and Ryan, “Thank goodness for FaceTime and all, but we both panic that we’ll look very old to each other.”
Kate also joked that although her daughter is 22, she “looks eight.”
The Total Recall star added, “She’s like, ‘I’m just worried that you think I look old.” I’m like, “I’ll look old.”
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Kate revealed that she has “never been on a date.”
The actress was married to Len Wiseman between 2004 and 2019 and enjoyed romances with Michael Sheen and Pete Davidson, but insisted that she had never been taken on a date in her life.
She said, “I literally meet someone, meet him at work, and then either marry him or get pregnant with him.”
Kate also revealed that she doesn’t want to go on blind dates.
The actress fears that a blind date can quickly turn into an embarrassing event.
She explained, “I just can’t think of anything I hate more than sitting in front of someone I don’t know, chances are I won’t like it and have to sit and watch them eat.”
