LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have reloaded after an early exit. Adding Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Russell Westbrook and more, the team is very formidable. However, basketball segments on Twitter highlight his team’s age, which King James learned about and addressed in a tweet-and-delete.
“He keeps talking about my team, the ages of our staff, the way they play, they stay injured, we’ve spent our time in this league, etc., etc.,” James wrote. “Do me a favor, PLEASE !!! And I mean PLEASE !!! Keep that same narrative ENERGY when you start! That is all I ask. #Thanks”
Despite all the talk about the age of LeBron’s team, every player added had a successful 2020-21 season in their respective roles. There is also a jolt of youth in Kendrick Nunn, Talen Horton Tucker, and Malik Monk.
