You don’t want to mess with Kevin Durant.
If you do, you will apparently face the wrath of his bodyguard, even if you are one of his opponents during a game.
During the Nets vs. Bucks Thursday night, Durant faced a scrum with Milwaukee forward PJ Tucker. As the two players went to do it, their teammates and other staff members surrounded them to break it, but a man dressed in a security guard-type suit also joined the fray.

According to The Athletic, that man was Durant’s bodyguard, who is on the Nets payroll.
This incident between Durant and Tucker was just a glorified screaming match, but the bodyguard wanted to make sure Durant didn’t find himself in any kind of trouble with one of the league’s smallest and most annoying forwards.
It must be good for Durant to have that kind of personal protection available at all times, even when he’s on the court. And the bodyguard displayed good blocking technique, pushing his way through the crowd to prevent Tucker from advancing any further on Durant.
The play was, perhaps, one of the best box-outs that occurred in the Brooklyn-Milwaukee game.
