Before their reconciliation, things looked bleak for the couple. Kroy and Kim’s personal affairs took center stage, from a reported IRS debt totaling more than $1 million to defamatory allegations between them.
Both parties documented some of their mutual claims in legal documents previously obtained by TMZ. Zolciak alleged that Kroy has a habit of smoking marijuana and is concerned for the safety of his children. She requested that her then-estranged husband undergo a five-panel hair follicle drug test.
Meanwhile, the former athlete claimed that his wife has a “compulsion” to bet online and gamble. He added that her alleged habit caused financial problems for her family and affected her ability to mother her children.
Kroy requested that Kim be ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation to uncover possible “Underlying mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, narcissistic personality disorder, bipolar disorder, or ADHD.”
Despite filing for divorce, Kim indicated that they had continued to share the same home in Georgia.
As of Friday night, the couple had not addressed the firing on social media.
