The New York Knicks reportedly agreed to a deal with Dwayne Bacon on Monday, a day after the Orlando Magic resigned from the guard.
Various media outlets reported the deal, but the terms were not disclosed.
The 25-year-old Bacon averaged 10.9 points with 3.1 rebounds in 72 games (50 starts) for the Magic last season after playing his first three seasons with the Charlotte Hornets.
During his four NBA seasons, Florida State’s product has averaged 7.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in 207 games. Bacon was a second-round pick for the New Orleans Pelicans in 2017 and was traded to the Hornets on draft night for Frank Jackson.
Orlando resigned from Bacon just before the deadline that would have guaranteed a $ 1.8 million contract for next season.
