LaLiga focuses on the June restart but not without testing the players – News Block

The best players will train individually and an agreement was signed between the health authorities and the Spanish sports association to guarantee the safety of the footballers and the coaching staff after seven weeks of confinement. The Spanish government finally shows some relaxation in the restrictions, but before going to the normal routine, each player must undergo the test.

“These measures cover a period of approximately four weeks with different phases that, in any case, will be subject to the de-escalation process established by the Government,” read a LaLiga statement.

“Along with the medical tests carried out by the clubs, a staggered return to training has been launched that will begin with player training alone and with group activities prior to the return to competition, scheduled for June.”

With that statement, we can expect some action in mid-June but behind closed doors.

This is the current state of the LaLiga table

There are 11 matchdays left, with Barcelona at the top of the table, two points ahead of rival Real Madrid. So get ready to see some action this June.
