LaMelo Ball’s rookie stellar season will be interrupted. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Rookie of the Year favorite broke his right wrist and is believed to be out of season.
The injury occurred in the thumb area of his shooting hand and he received it during a 125-98 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Ball is currently listed as eliminated indefinitely, but is ready for a second opinion. In his first season, Ball averaged 15.9 points, 6.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds.
