After the arrival of Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs have renewed their hopes for many more years.

Popovich joined the Spurs franchise as an executive in 1988 and in 1996 took over as head coach.
He led the team to 22 consecutive playoff appearances, six trips to the NBA Finals, and five championships.
He has a record of 1,366-761 over these 27 seasons, becoming the winningest head coach in league history.
Popovich and James have had great battles on the court over the years, meeting in three NBA Finals, with the Spurs beating James twice.
Now the 74-year-old has a new perspective to develop into a top-tier player in the league like he did with David Robinson and Tim Duncan in the past.
Victor Wembanyama landed in San Antonio with the first overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft and is set to make a name for himself with the Spurs.
