Four stages over the next five weeks will make up the restart of the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour with Princess Superal and Harmie Constantino looking forward to contesting top honors at the P750,000 ICTSI Sherwood Challenge at Trece Martirez in Cavite starting Tuesday.
The two easily excel in the Lean field and Superal will set out to get some sort of revenge after Constantino won the Eagle Ridge Challenge before the second block brought the tour to a halt last March.
But even during a break, the country’s top professionals have made sure to stay fit for the tournament, with Superal and Constantino never giving up.
Superal also hopes to use the next four tournaments to prepare for a more lucrative campaign in Japan later this year.
Former stage winner Chihiro Ikeda is also set to compete for the crown after missing the last tournament due to injury.
After the Sherwood stage, the action moves to Eagle Ridge at Gen. Trias from July 14-16 at Norman Field. INQ
