Ludacris became a father for the fifth time.
The rapper and his wife Eudoxie Bridges have confirmed the birth of their newborn child Chance Oyali Bridges, the younger brother of their 5-year-old daughter Cadence.
Eudoxi wrote on Instagram: “Our chance Oyali Bridges came two weeks earlier, and we are happy that another beautiful angel is named after my late grandmother … 07/28/2021 (sic)”
Ludacris, who also has Kai, 7, Karma, 20, and Shyla, 24, from a previous relationship, and Eudoxi have confirmed they expect it this May.
After posting some pictures of his wife hugging her bump to celebrate her birthday, he wrote, “How was your birthday and you gave me the greatest gift ever? Joyeux Anniversaire Mrs Bridges (sic) “.
Ludacris, meanwhile, has previously admitted that it is “difficult” for him to talk to his children about racism.
He said: “I am a parent myself, and you know, I think that children are still impressionable and it is difficult to talk to them about what is happening today.
“And everyone is looking for answers to all the negativity and everything that happens … especially for the new generation, which I think we need to secure and try to enrich them as much as possible.”
And Ludacris is glad that positive changes are already taking place after anti-racist protests in the United States and other countries around the world.
He said: “I love to see that some universities have instituted the George Floyd Fellowships. I love that there are companies that are investing in many black communities that have not received proper service for so long. I love that people learn more about the history of this country and learn more about the history of slavery. I love that there are peaceful protests in the world and you see many more multicultural and multi-ethnic people inspiring and uniting. “
